So, pretty sure I have gone on a shopping rampage the past week or so...only trying to get ready for the big move though!

So far I have acquired...
1. New Bedspread and Shams
2. New 650 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set (still in the mail...on its way though)
3. 2 Black Decorative Pillows (to match the bedspread)
4. 1 Orange Decorative Pillow (for a little contrast...and to help the black pillows not look so intense)
5. 8 Bath Towels
6. 2 Sets of Dishes
7. 1 New Robe (mine was in need of serious replacement)
8. 1 Wii (yes, I am a nerd...but it was a freaking awesome deal and I wanted one)

Things I still need to buy...
1. 2 Pillows
2. 2 Firmer Pillows for the Shams
3. (Possibly) a New Down Comforter
4. (Possibly) a New Mattress Pad
5. (Possibly) a Bath Rug
6. (Possibly) a New Bedside Lamp
7. Groceries
8. Tithing (not really buying, but still qualifies)

Intense list filled with quite expensive things...I know.

Then, I found the cutest artwork at Target (my new favorite store), but decided that I should not take anything more from my starving checking account. So...I decided to try adding a little creativity to my life and draw some myself!
ps. don't laugh because I am just a beginner, ok? I'm working on it. (also, you can't see the color due to the flash)

Behold, the most perfect pair of red ruffle pumps I have ever laid eyes upon...

I love these shoes with every fiber of my being and guess what?

They don't have my size. Not one single store out of all the stores that carry this shoe has them.

obsession?

I can't help it people...I have an obsession for shoes...and it is a BIG one.

The good thing about my obsession that helps itself stay afloat is that my favorite type of shoes are shoes on SALE!! :)

All SUPER cute right?! Well my friends, each pair was only 7 bones...did the heavens just open up? Are those angels I hear? Yes. Yes, I do believe so.

What could make this happy girl an ecstatic girl? More shoes, you say? Why yes!

I found these sweet flippies at the amazing price of 2 for 5 dollars...

Awesome colors...even awesomer price.

feeling a little dizzy

I purchased these pairs of shoes a little while ago, but I have finally decided that they are too cute to keep a secret from all of you...plus they were each ten bucks which makes them even cuter!

Cute right?! Gotta love a good deal!

One other thing that I forgot to share with you...

Last Wednesday (the day of Michael Buble), I had to get my blood taken for proof of immunization crap. Most people who know me know that I HATE NEEDLES...I despise them. I am super afraid of them and still to this day I have to fight off tears when I have to go get a shot. Getting my blood taken is not something that I am even remotely ok with...even talking about needles right now is making my heart race.

While sitting in the stupid chair at the stupid clinic with a stupid needle in my arm I started to feel nauseous. I could feel that my body temperature was rising, my palms were sweating, and my heart was racing. I really thought I was going to be sick. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes while breathing deeply to fight off the intense nausea...and that was it. 

You know that feeling of utter confusion when you first wake up in the morning and all that is running through your head is "WHERE AM I?!" That feeling of panic when you can't remember anything? You have no idea what is going on? These were the exact thoughts going through my head at this moment in time.

 Then a familiar voice broke through my confusion saying, "Lauren? Oh good, the color is coming back into your face! Uh-huh, there you go."

Yes, people, it is true...I fainted. And it was awful.

The sheer embarrassment of this situation is enough to make even some of the most confident people want to crawl into a hole and never come out. I hope no one else has to experience such humiliation.

love at first sight

One of the things I love most besides shoes is shopping...if you did not know this refer to the list on the left! Today I went to the mall searching for one specific item...a black top...easy, right? Wrong. I needed the black top for dance pictures today so there was a list of needs that this shirt needed to fill...

1. all black
2. comfy
3. cute
4. easy to dance and move in
5. something I could wear more than once
6. cheap

I was looking for just the right top and decided to start my search at one of my favorite stores...Gadzooks! I looked and looked around the store, picking up a few things here and there, when my eyes beheld one of the cutest coats I have ever seen. It was love at first sight and I knew I had to try it on...well long story short...I fell in love all over again when I put it on and knew I couldn't leave the store without it. So I bought it.

Here it is...

Super cute right? And it was only $40 which is pretty good for a coat. AND it was the very last one...destiny? I think so!

I didn't end up finding a black shirt at Gadzooks, but I did find one in another store that was only $6...I feel like I accomplished all the things on my list...and I got a bonus buy! Ah...life is sweet. Now, I will go enjoy sporting my stylin' new coat!
