some weekend fun.

So this weekend the fam decided to take a little boating trip!

The weather was beautiful, the water was cool, and the company was hilarious as always.

Even big daddy took good old "Moby Dick" out for a spin!

The second day of boating was filled even more awesomeness...I apologize that I did not bring my camera that day. But, Monday was when the boys decided to whip out all of their tricks on the wakeboard...even some tantrums (apparently some sort of backflip) were attempted and ALMOST landed! Next time it will happen for sure!

Gotta love the fam...they are pretty great!

you know what's nice?

...a night in. I get to sit back, eat reeses, catch up on my fav tv shows, and go to bed early. The beginning of school always seems so hectic because you are dealing with a new schedule and trying to find your new classes, buying a million textbooks that put a dent in your pocket, meeting new people, getting back into the habits of homework and waking up earlier...on and on and on. Then...you get to spend a nice night at home (after homework of course) to relax and recuperate. I love that.

Don't you love a night in?

So basically laying by the pool is the best way to spend the day when you don't have to work.

Smelling the mixture of sunscreen and chlorine, listening to the kiddies splash in the water, feeling slightly crispy from the hot sun while enjoying the light breeze...yes, the pool is where I want to be.

So relaxing, so perfect.

(and the tan is a nice little extra bonus)

much awaited break

Spring break is my fav...

I love sleeping in and having absolutely nothing to do!
I get to revisit old friends (aka my bed) and spend some quality time with them.

Every person should be entitled to a spring break, don't ya think?
